Jessica Speziale Nominated for Best Canadian Artist in Braden Murphy-McFarlen Awards

Toronto singer/songwriter has been nominated for Best Canadian Artist by popular Canadian internet radio station, Radio Nation for the second year running for her soul-infused pop/rock.

Sultry, rich and fresh are a few words that fans, reviewers and media have used to describe this Toronto musician’s powerhouse voice. A musical force to be reckoned with, Jessica Speziale delivers her version of brand of pop/rock with the intent of Serena Ryder and the soul of Alicia Keys.

Her debut EP, Dear Reverie is a popular favourite amongst radio stations throughout Ontario and the UK. Jessica won Rock Musician of 2012 in the Radio Nation Music Awards, an award given by Centennial College-based internet radio station Radio Nation. In 2012, her song Weak in the Knees feat. Jetcoaster was number 2 on the INtune Radio Song of the Year Countdown, a countdown presented by another Canadian internet radio station.

The title track from her debut EP, Dear Reverie was placed in a webseries called Please Don't Fire Me and an online promotional video for Toronto carsharing service Options for Cars. Also featured in the Options for Car video is Babyface off of the same release. How To Be A Man has been included on a charity compilation CD by Toronto-based One Fire Movement released in June 2013.

Since 2010, Jessica has been performing around Southern Ontario both acoustically and with her 4-piece band in venues ranging from the Windfall Eco Festival on an outdoor stage in Newmarket to the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto.
